Albany resident reports car accident on San Pablo
A Corolla crashed into a truck parked near Garfield Ave. on San Pablo Ave. at around 8 am Thursday, according to an Albany resident who witnessed the accident scene. The resident took a number of photos at the scene and sent them to Albany Today. Although the reporting volunteer doesn’t want to be credited, let’s give him a round of applause for his excellent work!
“It’s said that several people in the car were sent to the hospital” isn’t good journalism; if you’re going to make an assertion, it ought to be sourced. Said, by whom? The police? Bystanders? The resident who took the photos? (And if so, where did they hear that?) The photos certainly do remind us that passenger cars oughtn’t to mess with trucks!
