It is wonderful that city is finally taking action. I am very concerned about deteriorating property on Jackson str. That one is so bad that you can't even enter it - no stairs…Recently the old truck had been moved to the house to cove completely broken garage door. Amazing how this can happen in such an expensive area like Albany. Why not to sell?!

Thankfully the city is following up on this. I've complained several times to the city, too. (I didn't get to sign the petition, because I'm a block away); and I've seen the deterioration for years, since my high school children were playing in the kiddie park across the street.

The photo does not show that every window in the house is broken, with vines and bushes growing into every opening. There are shopping carts in the back yard, grass and weeds get 3-4 feet tall every spring, until the city chops it all down. The house is a danger, a fire hazard, and a likely home for homeless people.
