    Photo by Linjun Fan. 79-year-old City Councilmember Jewel Okawachi has lived in Albany all her life, and served the community in various ways for decades. She will give a speech at the Albany Library from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Monday, Dec.17, sharing a special period of her life during which she and her family were put into an internment camp in Arizona and deprived of freedom for three years.
